Plaster Of Paris Bandage

Minimum Order Quantity : 100 Kilograms

Grade : Industrial Grade

Solubility : In Water: Plaster of Paris is slightly soluble in water. When mixed with water, the Plaster of Paris Bandage hardens due to a chemical reaction where it reverts to Calcium Sulphate Dihydrate (Gypsum). The material itself does not dissolve in water but undergoes a hydration process where the plaster sets and forms a solid, rigid structure. In Acids: Plaster of Paris dissolves in dilute acids such as hydrochloric acid (HCl) to form a calcium salt solution. In Alcohol and Organic Solvents: Plaster of Paris is insoluble in alcohol and most organic solvents.

Classification : Organic Chemicals

Application : Industrial
